Hello, world! And invoices!

by Michael on May 23, 2019

I’d like to mark the occasion of my inaugural blog post with a customary greeting that fellow software developers will recognize:

Hello, world!

This greeting is typically used by programmers who are beginning to learn a new language or want to write a quick test. Perhaps one of the most well known occurrences of this greeting is in The C Programming Language by Brian Kernighan and Dennis Ritchie. This seminal book helped to popularize the phrase.

With greetings sufficiently completed, for my first post here I would like to reveal a bit about an upcoming feature of LogSpace. We have been working hard to create LogSpace so that it can be a reliable tool that fits into your work routine. We have done this by first making sure that it is an excellent tool for us to use as well.

So, what’s next for LogSpace? That is a great question, and I am excited to show a sneak peek at what we are working on.

Development Preview of Client Setup

If you guessed “invoicing”, then you got it right! In the above picture, you can see part of the client setup screen that is currently in development. Of course, since it is still in development, features seen in the image and discussed here are subject to change. However, this picture will hopefully convey the idea. We can’t wait to release these new features!

Once released, it will be possible to use LogSpace as a “one stop” for client management and invoicing. Independent contractors will find this especially helpful. You can enter client details and configuration, and then the system will automatically generate invoices, or you can invoice manually.

We are in the midst of development now, but we plan to make updates to our website when we get closer to release, so keep an eye out for it!
